Feeding Recommendations
The amount of food you feed your Chow Chow will depend on his age and weight. Select a high-quality, nutritional balanced formula. Make sure dry food is a ready-expanded meal. If not, when the dry food becomes wet it the stomach it could produce bloat, which may be fatal. The food should be veterinary developed and backed by PHD's in pet nutrition while made in the U.S.A.

.

Nutritional Requirements
The nutritional requirements for your Chow Chow include an all-natural, holistic, grain-free dog food. Real meat should be the primary ingredient in a rich antioxidant formula containing Omega-3 and -6 Fatty Acids for healthy coat and skin, taurine to support heart health, DHA to support brain development, and glucosamine to help maintain joint health. Above all, you should never feed a Chow Chow food that has  soy, wheat, corn, by-products, or artificial colors, preservatives, chemicals or flavors. You want to feed as naturally as possible.  The ideal food is one that is custom tailored to your Chow Chow based on his particular health issues, energy level, age, gender, and weight.
